HELLO, I'M

About
MY BACKGROUND
Welcome
My name is Jack Reeves, and I am from Spokane, Washington. I am a recent graduate from Arizona State University where I received my Master of Arts in Sports Journalism from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism. I hope this site gives you all an insight into who I am, my past experiences both personally and professionally, and where I hope to go in the future.
Throughout my college years I have traveled across the country to better myself as both a student and an athlete. I started my college journey at the University of North Carolina Asheville, before transferring after a year. I ended up in the Midwest at the University of Northern Iowa where I played on the golf team and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Sports Public Relations. All these experiences have led me to where I am today and what I have portrayed through this site.
About Me
With a passion for all things sports related, I have a skill set and knowledge of the sports industry that I am excited to put to work. I have worked multiple different jobs in sports thus far. I was an intern for the Waterloo Blackhawks of the USHL where I worked in game operations. Most recently, I have been a digital reporter for Cronkite News, where I covered Phoenix Rising, NBA Summer League, Big 12 Media Day and more. Over the last few months I have also co-created and hosted the soccer podcast Three Yanks and a Brit. I also was a forecaddie at the Coeur d'Alene Resort for summers in the past. All jobs helped me enhance valuable professional skill sets like communication, organization and time management.

During my time at UNI, I played on the men's golf team, where I learned what it takes to be successful as both a student and an athlete. After my time at UNI, I walked out as an organized, motivated, team player and leader with great communication skills, which will benefit me greatly moving forward.
While currently studying sports journalism, I am putting myself in the best possible position to enter the sports world after graduating. I am open to many different roles whether that be coaching, business operations, or broadcast and journalism. I have a love and passion for all sports, but see myself working in either college basketball, college football, golf, soccer or baseball. After ASU, I am excited to put all the knowledge and experience I have gained over the years and put it into an industry that I love.
